Troop 333 was born in 2000, and started off with 5 scouts and has grown to ~30 scouts in 2005.
Troop 333 is a member of the Golden Empire Council of BSA, and we are part of the Sierra Gateway District
The troop is sponsored by Rocklin/Loomis Basin Rotary Club
The troop meets year round at Rocklin Elementary School. The school is located off Rocklin Road at 5025 Meyers Street, Rocklin, CA 95677
-- During the school year, troop meetings are held weekly on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM
-- During summer, troop meetings are held every two weeks on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM
The troop has monthly outings (usually camping of some variety), and these are typically the third weekend of the month. Outings are held across Northern California, from the coast to the Sierra's and points between. The troop attends a week-long resident summer camp also (a fantastic experience for the scouts). The troop participates in Council activities, such as Camporee, Scout-o-rama, and has participated in the National Jamboree (held every 5 years).
The troop is also involved in the community, doing food drives, partnering with our sponsor organization, and supporting the community in a variety of ways
